The OccluSense® CenterFix was developed specifically for the OccluSense® system and serves as a centering aid to precisely align the sensor on the upper incisal line between the two central incisors. This ensures that the sensor position remains constant for each recording, enabling a higher reproducibility of the measurements.
 
The CenterFix is slid onto the sensor before use and before the sensor is inserted into the handset.
 
The consistent positioning of the sensor makes it easier to assign the recorded pressure distributions to the respective teeth in the OccluSense iPad app. This improves the analysis and interpretation of the recorded data and ensures a more precise evaluation of the occlusal contacts.
